Baby Rock Band (Primary x Lovevery)

For those about to trick or treat, we salute you—rock out in these epic costumes made in partnership with our friends at Lovevery, and pair it with their Music Set to keep the party going all night long (or, y'know, just right up until bedtime).  

Materials

Band Member #1: 

  • One graphic tee
  • One denim bottom
  • Black rock star wig
  • Teal felt
  • Black felt
  • Black elastic band, 1” wide
  • Teal pom poms
  • White craft foam sheet
  • Black velcro
  • Fabric tape

    Band Member #2:

    • One black tee or top
    • Striped leggings
    • Blonde rock star wig
    • Red stretchy fabric
    • Black elastic band, 1” wide
    • White craft foam sheet 

    Band Member #3: 

    • One red kids top
    • One denim bottom
    • Long black curly wig
    • Aviator sunglasses
    • Black elastic band, 1” wide
    • White craft foam sheet
    • Red felt
    • Velcro 

    Band Member #4:

    • One graphic tee
    • One plaid button-down shirt
    • Black leggings
    • Brown rock star wig
    • Black elastic band, 1” wide
    • White craft foam sheet 

    Tools

    • Hot glue gun & sticks
    • Scissors

    Instructions

    Band Member #1: 

    • Create the wristbands:
      • Cut a strip of teal felt and attach around the wrist with fabric tape
      • Cut a strip of black elastic that fits around the wrist and glue it together.
        • Glue teal pom poms around the wristband to make “studs”
    • Create the belt:
      • Cut a length of black elastic that fits around the waist.
      • Glue velcro to the ends of the elastic band.
      • Cut small strips of white craft foam and glue them evenly spaced along the belt.

     

    Band Member #2:

    • Create the wristbands:
      • Cut a strip of black elastic that fits around the wrist and glue it together.
      • Cut small triangles from a sheet of white craft foam and glue them evenly spaced around the wristband.

    Band Member #3: 

    • Create the wristbands:
      • Cut a strip of black elastic that fits around the wrist and glue it together.
      • Cut small triangles from a sheet of white craft foam and glue them evenly spaced around the wristband.
      • Cut a red felt star and glue it to an elastic wristband.
    • Create the belt:
      • Cut a length of black elastic that fits around the waist.
      • Glue velcro to the ends of the elastic band.
      • Cut small circles of white craft foam and glue them evenly spaced along the belt.

     

    Band Member #4:

    • Create the wristbands:
      • Cut a strip of black elastic that fits around the wrist and glue it together.
      • Cut small triangles from a sheet of white craft foam and glue them evenly spaced around the wristband. 
      • Tie plaid shirt around waist to complete the look.
