Materials

• One white baby top
• One blue baby dress
• One brown kids outfit
• White fabric
• Green felt
• Pink felt
• Black peel and stick felt
• Fabric markers
• Pink embroidery thread

Instructions:

For Maribel:

• For Maribel's dress, cut a scalloped collar from white fabric. Using fabric markers, draw butterflies and flowers along the collar. After letting the marker dry thoroughly, attach to the collar of the baby tee using hem tape.
• On the remaining white fabric draw colorful butterflies and plants. Cut these out and attach to the babysuit dress and baby tee using adhesive sheets.
• Using pink embroidery thread create several loops around your hand. Pinch in the middle to form a butterfly, secure with a strip of black peel and stick felt. Attach to the the collar using another strip of black peel and stick felt.
• With the remaining thread create tassels. Cut a long thin strip of pink felt. Hot glue tassels to the pink felt about an inch apart. Attach the pink felt strip along the bottom of the baby dress using hem tape.

For Bruno:

• For Bruno's poncho, use a large rectangle of green felt folded in half. Cut a pointed circle for the neck hole. Create fringe along the bottom of the poncho by cutting notches with scissors.
• Using a green fabric marker draw lines, dots, and shapes to create the graphic pattern.
• Wear the poncho over the brown kids outfit.
