Instructions
Got a mini superhero on your hands? Are they always running off somewhere when you're not looking– to fight crime? Then we've got the perfect costume for them this Halloween, with the Primary DIY Luna Girl (from PJ Masks) costume. Comfort is essential when saving the day, and comfort is guaranteed with our cozy Primary basics!
Create the moon:
- Use scissors to cut out the appropriate sized circle to fit your child’s chest. Use an exacto knife (or just pinch and cut a starting point with scissors!) to cut the crescent shape inside the circle, making sure to leave about 1/4 inch edge on the half of the circle that’s empty.
- Use the safety pins to attach it to the shirt!
Create the belt:
- Fold your fabric in half. Using the folded edge as the bottom, cut a rounded isosceles triangle approximately the length of your child’s hip to just below the knee and half the circumference of their waist.
- Unfold and cut in half so you have 2 equal triangles. Attach to the ribbon with hot glue gun (make sure you leave enough on the ends to tie the belt!).
Create the mask:
- Attach sequins to the mask in whatever fun pattern you choose using the hot glue gun.
- Ensure mask fits securely on the head under the wig.
