- Cardboard (About 24 x 36 inches)
- Green construction paper (12 sheets 9 x 12 inches each)
- Yellow construction paper (5 sheets 9 x 12 inches each)
- Colored markers or paper
- Blue ribbon

Instructions
For the peacock feathers:
- Use a piece of cardboard large enough to fit behind your child as the base of the feathers. Cover the cardboard in green construction paper and glue. Draw and cut out scalloped peacock feather shapes out of the paper covered cardboard along the outer edge. Once you have the shape, draw lines from the points down to the center to create "feather" shapes. Cut yellow ovals from paper and either draw smaller ovals on them with marker or layer smaller ovals of different colored paper to create the shapes on the feathers. Glue where the top of each feather should be.
For the straps:
- Cut for 4 holes into the cardboard at the tops of the shoulders and under the arms, and use 4 pieces of blue ribbon and knot on the back side of the cardboard feathers. Pull the ribbons across the body in a criss cross and tie around child.
