Scooby Doo Gang
Materials
For Fred:
- One blue kids outfit
- One white kids top
- Orange bandana
For Daphne:
- One purple kids dress
- Lavender felt
- Adhesive hem tape
- Headband
For Velma:
- One orange kids top
- One red kids bottom
- Orange kids socks
- Glasses
For Scooby:
- One brown kids outfit
- Brown felt
- Pink stiff adhesive felt
- Black adhesive felt
- Brown craft foam
- Teal craft foam
- Yellow craft foam
- Pipe cleaner
- Black sharpie
For Shaggy:
- One green kids top
- One red kids bottom
Tools
- Hot glue
- Hole punch
- Scissors
Instructions
For Daphne:
- Cut two long strips of lavender felt and attach as stripes to the grape dress using adhesive hem tape.
- Cut two more rectangles to create cuffs on each sleeve.
- Cut another piece of lavender felt and attach it to a headband using hot glue or adhesive hem tape.
For Scooby:
- For Scooby's collar, cut a long rectangular piece as well as a rounded square from teal craft foam. Cut an S and a D shape as well as the outline of the rounded square from yellow craft foam. Attach the pieces together using glue or adhesive sheets. Cut a hole in the the collar and the tag using a hole punch. Create a keyring from another thin piece of yellow foam.
- For Scooby's ears, cut two semi circles from stiff pink felt as well as two pointed dog ear shapes. Cut slightly larger dog ear shapes from brown felt. With hot glue, attach a pipe cleaner along the left and right edge of the pink felt side of each dog ear. Using hot glue along the round edge of the pink felt semi circle, attach the bottom edge of the pink felt dog ear. Peel off the backing of the pink felt dog ear and stick on the larger brown felt dog ear. Wrap the edges of the brown felt in to cover the pipe cleaners. Secure the edges closed with hot glue. Once each ear is finished. Peel the bottom backing from the ear and stick to the top of the hoodie.
- For the snout, cut a rectangle out of brown craft foam. Fold in half and secure the two front edges using hot glue. Round out the bottom half using scissors to be the rounded sides of the snout. Cut a rounded triangle from black adhesive felt and stick on to be the nose. Add black dots using a sharpie. Tuck the snout into the hood of the hoodie like a visor.
- For his tail, cut a long rectangle from brown felt. Roll into a cylinder and secure closed along the seam with hot glue.
- Cut black spots from adhesive black felt and attach to the outfit
