Instructions
- Create the crown:
- Cut a pointed crown from gold glitter craft foam or gold cardstock paper.
- Glue the crown together.
- Make a small skull using white craft foam and a black marker.
- Glue the skull to the top of the crown.
- Glue a thin elastic band to the bottom sides of the crown to hold it onto the head.
- Create the scepter:
- Cut two matching skulls from white craft foam.
- Use a black marker to draw in the eye sockets and teeth on one skull.
- Glue the skull pieces together sandwiched over the top of a wooden dowel or takeout chopstick.
- Glue various colored ribbons to the base of the skull.
- Make the skeleton with adhesive felt:
- Use a pencil to draw the skeleton onto the back of the adhesive felt.
- Cut out the pieces with scissors and stick them onto the clothes.
- Create the tulle skirt:
- Cut a strip of wide elastic band that fits comfortably around the child’s waist and glue it together to make a ring.
- Cut strips of tulle twice as long as you would like the skirt to be.
- Fold each strip in half and hold the folded end over the elastic band. Thread the cut ends under the folded end, looping it over the elastic band. Repeat with pink and purple tulle strips until the elastic band is covered.
- Tip: hold multiple colored tulle strips together when looping them around the elastic band to make a full skirt.
