25 Kid Mispronunciations We Want in the Dictionary Right Now

We asked our followers on Facebook and Instagram to share their favorite kid mispronunciations and the results had us literally LOL-ing and ready to petition Merriam Webster to include them in the next dictionary! (Honestly, some of them just make more sense than the words we currently use.) See for yourself!

1. Popstickle

Definition: a piece of flavored ice or ice cream on a stick (see also: popskipple)

Used in a sentence: Lasterday I was eating a popstickle and it dripped on my dress, so I turned it inside out.

2. Lasterday

Definition: the day before today (see also: lasternight)

Used in a sentence: Lasterday you told me I could have another popstickle today. It’s today.

3. Uzzgusting

Used in a sentence: The first popstickle you gave me was uzzgusting, but I liked the second one.
