Instructions
Get patriotic this Halloween with our Primary DIY Captain America costume. Our Primary essentials and our easy DIY instructions are all you need to save the day, from sea to shining sea. A dose of superhero serum is not required, although some candy corn wouldn't hurt!
For the headband:
- Cut out letter “A”, wings and star from sturdy paper (we used paper plates!) and attach to a head band and to the front of the dress with double-sided fabric tape.
For the belt:
- Cut a length of white masking tape and use red sharpie to create stripes. Attach around the dress.
For the shield:
- Paint a garbage can lid or cut a circle out of cardboard to paint, and glue another paper star to the front. Use masking tape on the back to create a handle.
For the boots:
- Cut red felt long enough to cover from knee to ankle with a fold at the top for a cuff. Use fabric tape or safety pins to close in the back.
